Shipping & Returns

KURAYAMI products are made to order. We do not hold bulk inventory in Australia. Each item is produced after your order is placed, then shipped through our fulfilment network.

Where we ship

We ship to Australia and most international destinations supported by our fulfilment network. Availability can vary by product, shipping method, carrier, and destination country.

Some countries or regions may be unavailable due to carrier restrictions, legal restrictions, conflict, customs limitations, or other external factors. If your country is not available at checkout, we are unable to ship there at this time.

Shipping timeframe

Our standard shipping and delivery estimate is 5–15 working days. This estimate excludes local public holidays. Delays can occur due to customs clearance, carrier issues, incorrect addresses, incomplete contact details, or other unavoidable causes.

Once tracking is available, your order will be updated so you can monitor the delivery progress.

Made-to-order fulfilment

Because each item is made to order, production begins after your order is accepted. This means orders are not treated like standard warehouse stock and cannot always be changed, cancelled, or returned for preference-based reasons once production has started.

Address changes

Please check your shipping address carefully before completing checkout. Shipping details can only be updated in limited circumstances, and each order can only be successfully updated once. Once an order enters the shipping process, the shipping address or method can no longer be changed.

Cancellations

Orders can only be cancelled and fully refunded while they are still in “In Review” status. Once the order has moved beyond this stage, cancellation may no longer be possible because production may have started.

Damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or materially different from what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery so the issue can be investigated promptly.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos or video of the issue
  • A short description of the problem
  • A photo of the packaging if the parcel arrived damaged

Where a production fault, print fault, damaged product, defective item, order error, or lost package is confirmed, we will arrange the appropriate resolution.

Lost or damaged packages

If a package is damaged in transit, contact us within 7 days of receiving the package and include photos of the damage. If the carrier loses your package, we will arrange the appropriate follow-up and resolution.

Returns and refunds

Return or refund requests can be raised within 180 days after delivery. However, for damaged, defective, misprinted, incorrect, or lost items, claims should be submitted within 7 days of delivery for faster investigation and resolution.

Because KURAYAMI products are made to order, we generally do not accept returns or refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Ordering the wrong size
  • Incorrect shipping details supplied at checkout
  • Preference-based issues where the item matches the product description

Size charts should be checked before ordering. If you are between sizes, choose carefully before checkout.

Return approval required

Do not send items back without contacting us first. Unconfirmed returns are not accepted. If a return is approved, we will provide the correct return instructions. Returns sent without prior confirmation may not be accepted.

Returned-to-sender or address problems

If an order cannot be shipped because of address issues after production is complete, the package may be held for up to one month from the completion date while a valid address is provided. If no valid address is provided within that timeframe, the package may no longer be available and only the shipping fee may be refundable.
